Boston Legal’s actor William Shatner has warned Sidhe from making a video game on him in whom the player would demolish William Shatner rather than slabs. The background music selected for the game by the company was the same song that he sung in Mr.Tambourine Man. That game must have been like a gift for his fans but most importantly, Shartner did not like the idea and was not happy that it was being created without his permission. Therefore, he has served a notice to the company warning them to stop the proceedings otherwise he will file a suit against them. I guess, name of Julie Bowen is not new to the ones, who have something to do with the American Television. This gorgeous actress is best known for her portrayal of the attorney Denise Bauer on the popular ABC series ‘Boston Legal‘. As of now, she and her husband Scott Phillips are ready to welcome two little champs into their family. The actress made her pregnancy public in last November. Her husband Scott Phillips is a real estate investor. The couple already has a son named Oliver who is 22 months old, having been born in April 2007.

The fact which makes her exhilaration double is that she is expecting twin boys this time. The twins are due this spring. Yeah… man, this is true! ‘Boston Legal’ is over and the episode ‘Last Call’ brought out it to an end. And, believe me the series finale was the most satisfying and entertaining episode I’ve watched ever. I must say, that it’s the series finale in true words.

Series finale was a two hour event and at the center of the episode were two weddings and a takeover. Main highlight of the episode was Alan and Denny’s marriage. It was very soothing to see Alan as he finally accepted Denny’s hand. Denny’s words “”Take my hand, Alan, take my money,” – I think these four-six words summarized the whole story of ‘Boston Legal’. It’s the only one finale of its type where we see the two men, whose love for each other has been the heart and soul of Boston Legal, holding hands of each other and saying goodbye to the ones who’ve been crazy for ‘Boston Legal’ episodes.

‘Boston Legal’ aired on ABC Network for five successive seasons and is known as a show primarily for older audience. And, making it more relevant to such kinda phenomenon was Shatner, John Larroquette, and Candice Bergen’s age of over 50.

During its run, ‘Boston Legal’ sometimes went off-center and we started getting bored of the stuff but writers’ refreshing minds and ideas kept on adding amusement and something to show which induced us to return whenever we went away.

The series finale ‘Last Call’ was also a sophisticated episode. Trouble arose when The “Massachusetts Chapter of the Gay and Lesbian League” filed a case with an intention to stop Denny and Alan’s marriage. Their claim was that it’s a mockery. Next, we saw Alan facing the Supreme Court in order to get an access to an experimental Alzheimer’s drug for Denny. When priest and rabbi got stuck into a fight, it looked like that Carl and Shirley’s wedding plans were ……… But, writers were sure to make it a soothing season finale and an entertaining episode so they ultimately brought Alan & Denny and Carl and Shirley together hands in hands during a double wedding. Oh… Boston Legal, we’re gonna miss you!

Well guys, I know this is shocking news; even I was shocked when I first read about it. I mean no one was expecting such a kind of news, with a series that is doing so well. This season, that is, the fifth one is going to be the last season of the series. This show is my favorite show and this news has really affected me. Till now no one exactly knows the reason behind the cancellation of the series. The series has been received well and even its ratings have been good, then what could be the reason, I guess, we will have to wait till that comes out.

All that I could think of is that the show is a costly one and that most likely the producers have problems getting funds for the show. Besides, this I can think of no other reason, for cancellation of the series, that also in such a disrupt manner. But, anyways let’s be thankful that the series will get a chance to give its viewers a decent ending. Otherwise, there are many series that have been cancelled even without a warning. We still have Boston Legal with us until next year and we all can enjoy it till then.

But, if this is the last season of the series can you imagine how the creators will like to end it. Just give it a thought. I am sure you will end up wrecking your brains, as you will not be able to come to any concrete answer to this question. Anyways, that is just another part of it. But, I seriously do not want the series to end. I am sure there are many others who are of the same view. And, I personally feel that we should all get together and do something against the channels this decision. I am sure they would reconsider their decision. If you’ve never seen a ‘Boston Legal‘ episode, then, it’s excessively late. Series is on air from the last four years and is currently running with season 5. Most recent episode ‘True Love’ was aired on October 13, 08. Here, we see that Alan Shore’s ex-flame Phoebe Prentice asks him to prove her husband’s innocence in the murder of a case. But somewhere in his heart, Alan wishes her husband to be the guilty so that they can rekindle their relationship. It was a well-rated episode and I enjoyed it a lot! All, ‘Boston Legal’ episodes are of same sort.

Really, it’s one of the shows which make me refreshing and energetic every time I watch an episode. During the fourth season of series, various new faces were introduced and along with the regulars cast list, they made the season- a sizzling one. Fifth season is on run and definitely, it’d be better than the previous ones.

Ah! Producers have declared that season 5 will be series ender and it’d be awfully tough for me to say a ‘good bye’ to my favorite drama so early. I mean, what do five seasons mean, it can have more, in fact, it should have more.

I am watching ‘Boston Legal’ episode from the day it was premiered on. All episodes are very interesting and they always remain on 6 to 9 on my ranking meter. What I best like about the show is- their way to mange both fun and seriousness of plot. Characters’ of/off relationship dramas, their fantastic performances, brilliant plotlines and superb direction- all help to give a rocking production and that’s why all ‘Boston Legal’ episodes are my favorite.

Some critics say that it has been a very serious show. But, I think they’ve the tact to handle things so they brilliantly manage to deliver seriousness of plot with a little dose of humor.

The final season of Boston Legal will be debuted on September 22. It’s one of the few drama series which appeals to our grey matter more than our emotions. Though initially it started as a spin-off of The Practice, but it stays on top because of its own popularity and ratings. It has its own faithful fan following including me who don’t find staple of love triangles and family dramas intellectually stimulating.

There are rumors abuzz about the faces we will be seeing in this season of Boston Legal. Betty White will join the Boston as Catherine Piper. She is one of the most vibrant characters in the series. A few seasons back she was part of a murderous arc. Another new face on the show will be Kimberly- William-Paisley, the bride of Father of the Bride fame. No spoilers about her role in the series. That should keep everybody guessing what the pretty lady will be doing in court room drama.

It has been also confirmed that Gary Anthony William who played the character of Clarence/Clarice Bell will no longer be part of the cast of Boston Legal in its fifth and final season. He was part of the show for the last two seasons. Another departure is also here. Taraji P. Hensen has already announced that she is no longer on the show. It’d be stimulating to see how these cats updates will make the season more interesting when it comes to air in September 2008, for its final season.

No, it doesn’t mean that Desperate Housewives’ whole cast is going to intrude in Boston legal.

I am just talking about a Desperate Housewives’ star who has recently joined Boston Legal, she’s Mary Alice Young. On Desperate Housewives, she portrays a lady who has murdered another lady. Actually, she (Mary) stoles her baby and raises him as his own son. Later on, she and her husband changed their home station due to fear that people will come to know that Zach is not their real son. But when that lady comes to claim her baby, she kills her and disposes her body. But after some years, the truth comes out of dark and she commits suicide in stress of being caught. This was Brenda Lee Strong’s powerful role in Desperate Housewives.

Now, she is not a desperate Housewife but is coming to make some judgments on Boston legal. She will play a guest role of a judge on one of the episodes of Boston’s fifth season. She is a sexy-but-tough judge who presides over Crane, Poole & Schmidt’s big cases.

Wow!!! A cool role and I think much well than her previous appearances. Her criteria of selecting roles seem pretty good. She makes a mark in every role whether it’s short term or long term role. She had a guest role in Gilmore girls too and was accepted by audience with open arms. Hey, but one thing is here, for which I am a little bit confused, that if a judge will be looking such hot, then obviously the case will stay for longer in the court room… hah ha ha

Both the defense and prosecution will enjoy debating over for longer and no one will ever look for results. And what you say about Boston Legal creators, they’re apparently smart people, who’ve started including hot judges to the show to invite more and more viewers. Such a smart game!

Brenda is a brilliant actress and I am just waiting to watch what charm she spreads this time with her acting and appearance on series.

Everybody knows Clarence Bell of Boston Legal who appears on third season and later on he sued his company for not giving him maternity leave, when he was going to adopt a child. Gary Anthony Williams playing Clarence has very impressive personality; he first appeared with Clair Simms and Alan Shore on the show and later on became Clair’s boy friend. He also played as secretary of Clair in the same season and was liked by everyone in that role. Now, it is officially confirmed that he won’t appear in season 5 of Boston Legal. As this is the finale season so many characters are leaving this show for further developments in their careers. Like, Whitney Rome (played by Tratji.P.Hensen) too has announced that she’s not coming back for new episodes.

I’ve also heard that the show makers carried Clarence’s role to an end and as per the reports revealed by buddy TV, he’s not upset for that as he have had enough time on the show. The fifth season will start with the episode named ‘Smoke Signals’. The news says that now Alan and Danny will tackle the tobacco industry, as they will defend a person whose father smoked cigarettes and died of lung cancer. Hey! It seems pretty interesting… let’s see what happens this time.

People do love this show as it brings the real controversial issues in light. There are lots of dramas who just target to entertain you, but this is the rare show which presents the unique issues. For example, in this episode, they are fighting against the evil of Tobacco. We all know that maximum revenue is earned from the sale of tobacco but simultaneously this is the slow disaster too.

I must say that Boston Legal is fictionally close to the reality. Only a few TV shows are here, which dare to deal with the real life issues and Boston Legal is definitely one of them.

Boston Legal is one of the best drama series on ABC along with Lost and Grey’s Anatomy. I recently heard a buzz that these are the shows which are on the top of the list of Emmy Award nominations in Drama Series category. For the very first time, Academy of television Arts and Sciences is allowing its process of preparing Emmy award Nomination list for Comedy and Drama series to be transparent by revealing these top 10 lists. The final top five nominations in every category will be announced on July 18.

Wow!!! It’d be amazing and I’m also waiting for the list to release. Now, there will be no secrets remain locked for months and we’ll not have to waste our time in making guesses. I have read it on several sites that Boston Legal will definitely be a nominee this time. We all know that it has won an Emmy in 2005, 06 and 07 too. But this time, it is in the category of best drama series.

Everybody is hoping that ABC will win the crown this time. Fans’ wishes are with series!!

Why not? Boston Legal is doing very well and is very popular right from its beginning. Moreover it’s my personal favorite and I never miss a single episode. This legal drama not only entertains us but also teaches us law.

Has anybody ever noticed about the names of the episodes? These are usually pretty interesting, like the folk stories. Like ‘Witches of the mass destruction’ in second season, ‘Beauty and the beast’ in the season four. It sounds really very funny.

May be the series will prove itself once again, last year James Spader kept Boston Legal’s name in the Emmy awards’ list. He won the lead actor’s award for Boston legal, though he has won the same continuously in 2004 and 2005 too.

What to say when other very skilled people are also in the Emmy race and no one knows who will snatch away the award. Mad men, The riches, House- such kind of good series are also in the row for the lead role in drama. So, chances for James Spader are not very bright this year. Alan Shore has already won enough awards and now he should leave some space for the other hard working actors.

Well, being very honest, I do like the character of Alan Shore in Boston Legal. He is a cunning lawyer, though all lawyers are cunning, but he follows up some different ways. His legal ways can be called unethical on the show. I also like his other characteristics as a woman chaser.

Boston Legal is a serious drama but it also makes you laugh heavily with some extremely funny situations. For example, the scene when one of Alan’s girlfriends becomes mad after Alan so she’s sent to the mental hospital and Alan fights her case to get her rid of all that. At least, I’d like to be away from such disastrous lovers. Why I am calling him a lover, as he himself tells Denny on the show that he doesn’t has the love gene, so he has some problem with the women.

Boston Legal is my all time favorite show, in fact from the time of ‘The Practice’. There’s a genuine reason behind the popularity of the show….any guesses??? Hey, it’s Alan who keeps on winning awards for the show.

As we all know, Boston Legal has been renowned for season 5 and we all are ready to welcome this upcoming season. It’s good to have a new great season but it’s also sad as network has decided to shut down the series after season 5.

Yeah, ABC is not in mood to run this legal drama for a long time, but is in mood to run it for fifth season. So, show’s season 5 may be the last season. According to ABC president Steve McPherson, Boston Legal will bow out with a 13-episode run in the fall, which will push the show just past the 100-episode mark. It’s not what we were expecting at all and fans are really very sad after this announcement. Now, it’s your turn to get sad, if you’re unknown about that. Yeah, one thing more, that is of too much importance that Boston legal season 5 or Boston Legal’ finale season is moving to Mondays at 10 pm ET/PT. Rumors are also about some cast changes when Saffron Burrows has already left the show.

Hey buddies!!! Don’t be sad as season 5 is here. What happens next, it completely depends upon season 5 ratings. Hope, ratings will help the series to come back with some more stuff. What says??? Am I right?

Every week, I do watch Boston Legal episodes and never skips any episode. Sometimes I love the episodes, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes episode fills me up with enthusiasm and sometimes make me very disappointed. Last episode from Boston Legal was a good episode and it worked wonderfully.

On this episode, Alan is arguing a case before the Supreme Court. All is about a man who is sentenced to death for raping a 7 year old gal and Alan is trying to defend that man. For Alan, his client is Lenny Serra, a mentally disabled man who’s labeled for raping a child. Katie Lloyd learns some news about Jerry Espenson’s new girlfriend from Lorraine Weller. Watching Gordon Ramsay rip into the contestants on Hell’s Kitchen was really full of fun. Meanwhile, Lenny is insisting on two things: he didn’t do that and he doesn’t want to die. Alan attends a mock hearing where everything he says is being challenged by mock representatives. Angry Alan lectures Denny for his party animal attitude. On the next day of hearing, the prosecution represents its side by book but Alan doesn’t. Alan strikes right back after being challenged by Supreme Court. Then, he states his client’s wishes’ who claims that he didn’t rape the child and he doesn’t want to die.

Jerry discovers that Lorraine is still in the brothel business and sends Katie and Lorraine out of his office. Frustrated Jerry breaks up with Dana when Lorraine tells him that Dana is an honorable woman who loves him. Alan and Denny enjoy their cigar and scotch, and Denny tells Alan that he’s proud of him.

Another tremendous Boston Legal episode ‘The Mighty Rogues‘ was aired on 4-15-2008.

We saw that Shirley’s father is suffering from the last stage of Alzheimer’s. He is in pain and I found he’s entirely fearful of everyone at Hospital including Shirley also. Shirley looks so upset because of his father’s condition and asks for a morphine drip to be used to put her father into rest. Initially, I didn’t understand why doctor refused to do that. Well, I got the point when chief resident explains that Law doesn’t allow them for a morphine drip, they could do if they bring a court order. Denny who cares too much of Shirley, decides to do everything for her. The judge grants the motion. Shirley thanks Alan for everything he did and watches her father passing away.

On another hand, Jerry needs Katie’s help and under Katie’s help he apologizes to Dana and admits that he’s in love. Later on, Dana drops the case and gets back with Jerry. Well, at the end of the episode, the Mayor of Nantucket enlists Carl’s aid- to get the town an atomic bomb for defense purposes. But Clarence doesn’t want to help anyone get an A-bomb. Carl discovers that the client is not too much crazy. I really enjoyed Candy Bergen and Shatner’s chemistry as they work together. It was also good to see Denny and Alan sharing scotch and cigars. The episode ends with Denny chewing on his cigar and with hands in his best friend’s hands.

In Shirley’s case, I think she do have some things to keep her grounded. Wholly, the episode was a superbly satisfying one which managed to deal with everyone’s expectations and from the episode I really get the idea, where most of the firms’ income is from.

Boston Legal is back with new episodes which were scheduled to air this month. On April 7, I was lying on my couch and was watching some of the downloaded episodes of series’, just spending my bore day. I was eager to welcome the new-after-strike episodes and believe me the latest episode from series was beyond my expectations. Well, now I’m here to share my views with you about the episode:-

The episode begins with Jerry Espenson and Alan Shore dealing with a court case. And the court case is an incensing one- a lady is murdered by her ex-beau after she refuses his marriage proposal on TV. Now, the show’s producer is being processed by girl’s dad- Alan’s client. Lorraine formulates a theory, and Alan is returning to a state of childhood where he had murdered his several childhood toys.

Meanwhile, Shirley meets another ex-boyfriend named Ethan, who is charged with hunting sales in Boston harbor with a shotgun and circumstances are not in favor of him. Shirley manages to secure a victory for him and invites him for a dinner after winning the case. Ethan refuses and leaves her depressed. Denny goes out for dinner with Shirley and tries to get her affection back. Shirley tells Denny she doesn’t seem them getting back together. And, in the end, as very usual, Alan wins the case, sacking 4 million dollars for his client.

Boston Legal is a spin-off of the popular series ‘The Practice’ and it focuses on civil law. “Boston Legal” returns for a fourth season to tell the professional as well as personal stories of a group of brilliant but often emotionally challenged attorneys. It centers on ethically challenged attorney Alan Shore who with the help of his friend and mentor Denny Crane quickly begins winning cases no one will take, often using less than honest methods. Brad Chase his rival and colleague, is assigned to the office to keep an eye on the possibly senile Crane. Though his questionable conduct might make him a few enemies along the way, Shore refuses to let trivial things like honesty or integrity get in his way while winning a case.

This prime-time comedy drama has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards since its 2004 premiere. Spin-off of the Emmy Award-winning legal drama The Practice, Boston Legal has also featured some respected actors as such Candice Bergen, René Auberjonois, and John Larroquette etc.
