The Season 5 Episode 13, was the season finale as well as series finale episode and the second part of the previous episode, which gave a very satisfying and well deserving end to the five season long series. In this episode of the season, Denny proposed marriage to Alan in order to make sure his financial and physical safety as his Alzheimer’s disease was making progress. All this made the gay rights groups to come in his way. Carl and Shirley were seen sorting out the problems related to their wedding. And, before attending their marriage ceremony at Nimmo Bay, Alan and Denny appear in the Supreme Court.
