Another tremendous Boston Legal episode ‘The Mighty Rogues’, aired on 4-15-2008. What we see on the episode is that Shirley’s father is suffering from the last stage of Alzheimer’s. Shirley’s dad Walt is in pain and I found he’s entirely fearful of everyone at Hospital including Shirley also. Shirley looks so upset because of his father’s condition and asks for a morphine drip to be used to put her father into rest. Initially, I didn’t understand why doctor refused to do that. Well, I got the point when chief resident explains that Law doesn’t allow them for a morphine drip, they could do if they bring a court order. Denny, he cares too much of Shirley and decides to do everything for her. The judge grants the motion. Shirley thanks Alan for everything he did and watches her father pass away.

On another hand, Jerry needs Katie’s help and under Katie’s help he apologizes to Dana and admits that he’s in love. Later on, Dana drops the case and gets back with Jerry. Well, at the end of the episode, the Mayor of Nantucket enlists Carl’s aid- to get the town an atomic bomb for defense purposes. But Clarence doesn’t want to help anyone get an A-bomb. Carl discovers that the client is not too much crazy. I really enjoyed seeing Candy Bergen and Shatner work together. It was good to see Denny and Alan sharing scotch and cigars. The episode ends with Denny chewing on his cigar and with hands in his best friend’s hands.

In Shirley’s case, I think she do have some things keeping her grounded. Wholly, the episode was a superbly satisfying one which managed to deal with everyone’s expectations and from the episode I really get the idea where most of the firms’ income is from.
